Australia Day Awards 2023

Nominations for the 2023 Australia Day ceremony are now open and the Leeton Shire community is being encouraged to nominate individuals and groups who they believe are worthy recipients of an award.

Each year Council presents awards across several categories at an Australia Day ceremony which celebrates the outstanding contributions that individuals, community groups and organisations make in the Shire.

If you know of a person or community group who has gone above and beyond to help improve the life of others, don’t miss the opportunity to nominate them for an award.

There are also those in our community who display determination and dedication, excelling in their chosen area.

Nominating is a simple process and can be done online below or via completing a hard copy paper form which is available upon request from Council or from the Leeton Visitor’s Information Centre. Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 9 December 2022.
