Australia Day 2025

Celebrate Australia Day 2025 in Leeton Shire.

Kick off your Australia Day in Leeton with a free BBQ breakfast at 7.30am, hosted by the Rotary Club of Leeton, featuring live entertainment by the Leeton Town Band.

The official proceedings begin at 9.15am, including a citizenship ceremony welcoming new Australians to Leeton Shire and an inspiring address by our special guest Australia Day Ambassador.

Join us in acknowledging local heroes with the announcement of the Australia Day Awards. After which refreshments will be available.

In the afternoon, cool down at the Pool Party at the Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre from 3 pm to 8 pm, with free entry and exciting activities including Aussie meat pie and lamingtonb eating competitions.

Explore celebrations in other localities like Murrami, where the CWA hosts a community breakfast at 7 am in the Murrami Hall. Plus, enjoy Australia Day activities at local pubs and clubs in Yanco and Whitton. Whitton Pool will be open from 1 pm – 7 pm with FREE entry.
