Tocal College’s Yanco Campus is situated in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area at Yanco, just 10 minutes drive from Leeton and 20 minutes drive from Narrandera. It shares the site and resources with Yanco Agricultural Institute (YAI).
A wide range of short training courses for primary producers, owners of small farms, new entrants to agriculture and horticulture, and to those thinking of investing in a rural enterprise is provided at the Yanco Campus.
Yanco Campus operates the highly regarded Aboriginal Rural Training Program, and provides coordination of skills training programs across NSW and interstate.
Since 2006, Yanco provided the only large-scale accommodation and conferencing facility in the region. It provides for visiting school groups, conferences, and educational courses and there is the potential for ever-expanding use for one-off events as well as residential short courses.
