Playgroup NSW leads play-based programs and services for NSW families with children birth to school age, offering development, shared experiences, and family support, in the first 2,000 days of life.
Playgroup NSW’s vision is to positively impact every NSW child, their family, and community.
As a not-for-profit member organisation, Playgroup NSW currently engages with 50,000 member families who reside in over 90% of NSW postcodes to provide a range of early education and family support.
Playgroups are delivered as Community Playgroups facilitated by local parents and carer volunteers, and Supported Playgroups, led by qualified early childhood educators, that provide specialised support to engage young children. Playgroups offer valuable social support networks for children and families experiencing a range of vulnerabilities. By offering face-to-face and virtual playgroups, Playgroup NSW provides an environment for parents and carers to develop skills and confidence in their parenting capabilities, while creating friendships, reducing isolation, and creating communities of support.
If you’d like to connect with other parents in your community and help your child learn through play, become a member today… it’s free and gives you access not only to playgroups but also to exclusive discounts and giveaways from our partners.
