Goodstart Early Learning Leeton

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Leeton is located in a residential area close to schools, major sporting amenities, parks and shops.
We have 4 large rooms in our centre – from Nursery to Preschool – and throughout the centre we have age-appropriate spaces. We are fully accredited and rated as Exceeding under the National Quality Standard and through our Storypark platform, as well as family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication.
All of our educators have currently obtained a minimum Certificate 3 in children services qualification with many of our educators up skilling and studying towards their Diploma of Early Childhood Degrees. Our dedicated educators all hold first aid certificates and are trained in Anaphylactic Reactions. Educators are always increasing their knowledge and take part in training sessions and workshops as well as team building activities.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with a rock and tyre mound, sandpit with rock seating, dirt pit, outdoor kitchen, vegetable gardens, water tank and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
Our centre has a rotational menu which includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and a late afternoon snack. These menus meet the dietary requirements, are seasonal and suitable for children under the age of five. We cater for many children with allergies and special dietary requirements.
We believe that children learn through play. No longer are we sitting in large groups discussing colours and letters. We use the interests of the children to extend on their knowledge and help them to learn from there – all in line with the Early Years’ Learning Framework. We use computers, books and play to investigate all of these questions and aim to answer every one!
Our children and families are most important to us. We take pride in the close relationships that we share. All members of the Goodstart Early Learning Leeton community enjoy coming together to celebrate special events such as Christmas, Grandparent Days and Preschool Graduations, and to enjoy performances such as Healthy Harold, Local Aboriginal Dancers, Storytellers and The Crocodile Man.
