GPSO began operating in Griffith in early 1993 when the State Government provided funding to establish post school options programs for young adults with a disability to make the transition from school to community life.
GPSO is a non-profit community-based organisation run by a volunteer Board of Management. Board meetings are held monthly, and all Participants and families are encouraged to attend and have input in the direction and the future of the service.
We aim to empower each individual to become independent and achieve their identified goals by using a person-centred approach and supports Participants to access all services and information available in their community. We encourage all Participants to make informed decisions and choices.
